Job description
We are looking for Director / General Manager as Factory Head in Opex Group, a leading Group of Companies in the Country

Direct & control overall HR, Administration & Compliance of Factories having 20 to 30 Lines .

Formulate various policies & procedures related to HR, Administration & Compliance of the company and prepare factory for compliance audit by buyers and keep it compliant always.

Contribute to the wider development and overall success of the Group/unit through proactive working with the Executive Team, strong leadership.

Monitor and identify manpower requirements and skills mix and make appropriate recommendation to management for implementation

Ensure appropriate recruitment and maintain required Machine-Man Ratio.

Ensure in providing professional HR support in respect of incorporating best HR practices in performing manpower planning, job evaluation, recruitment and placement, training & development, performance appraisal, managing career & succession planning, compensation & strategic pay planning, developing organization culture, setting KPI and employee relations.

Prepare & ensure written job responsibilities of all concerned.

Be well conversant about Labour Court Cases, disposal procedure and ensure action.

Oversee the smooth running of HR-related administrative tasks, such as holiday management, sick leave, replacement jobs and wage payments.

Ensure compliance with legal, contractual or statutory procedures

Conduct or arrange formal & informal Training for the Employees/Workers about labor law, certification as well as buyers requirements (e.g. SA 8000, ISO 9001, SADEX, BSCI, Buyers CoC, etc).

Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, increase productivity and retention.

Take initiative to motivate the staffs to ensure maximum productivity and profitability of the factory.

Liaison with regulatory bodies & stake-holders like; BGMEA, Labor Court, Govt. Agencies, Labor Organizations. Monitor & follow-up different licenses, court cases and workers grievance related issues.

  • Must have good track record of experience in reputed companies. No need to apply without good track record.
  • Good interpersonal & communication skill.
  • The applicants should have minimum 11 to 15 years experience in the RMG Organization.
MBA in HRM or PGDHRM with Masters in Any Discipline with sound knowledge in Bangladesh Labor Law.
